Mapping the current state and qualitative research for defining research models
Analysis of secondary data sources and consultations with experts in precision and smart technologies in dairy production will be conducted. Three focus groups, each with 8 to 12 participants (agricultural producers and experts), will be organized in different Croatian regions at the NUTS 3 level. The aim of the focus groups is to obtain baseline information on producers’ perceptions and preferences for modern technologies.
Development and testing of a questionnaire for the application of the TAM and TOE models based on focus group results
Identification of the technologies, definition of latent variables and their interrelationships, and development of a measurement model for each latent variable.
Data collection using a structured questionnaire
Collection of data from respondents (target sample: 200 respondents) through a combination of field research and an online questionnaire.
Establishment of a pilot farm – virtual pasture
Equipping a pilot farm for the transfer of new technologies at the experimental facility of the Faculty of Agriculture on Sljeme, including the organization of two workshops to introduce selected dairy producers to the new technologies.
Statistical processing and data analysis using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) methodology
Comparative analysis of results
The collected data will be analyzed according to the actual use of modern technologies, the intention to adopt modern technologies, geographic regions, and farm size (small/medium/large).
Development of recommendations for decision-makers
Key factors influencing the adoption of new technologies will be identified, along with recommendations for decision-makers.
